押絵羽子板は江戸時代歌舞伎の隆盛と共に発達し、歌舞伎役者の舞台姿を写した羽子板が人気を博しました。現在でも歌舞伎、日本舞踊などを題材にしたものが良く売れています。その舞台の臨場感を、限られた羽子板の形の中で、いかに華やかに表現出来るかを心がけながら、日々制作しております。

Raised cloth artwork battledores developed along with the prosperity of Kabuki in the Edo era. Battledores portraying the stage appearance of kabuki actors gained popularity. Even now kabuki or Japanese dance themes sell well. I devote myself every day to the production of battledores, trying to gorgeously express a sense of the reality of the stage in a limited space.
